一 |     A wave of excitement swept through Marvel fandom after a low-quality leaked teaser for Avengers: Doomsday briefly surfaced online. This teaser appears to confirm the return of Chris Evans as Steve Rogers. The teaser is believed to be one of four short previews planned exclusively for theatrical screenings of Disney’s Avatar: Fire and Ash, starting December 19.     Avengers: Doomsday is currently slated for a December 18, 2026 release. This follows a reshuffle of Marvel’s release calendar. The film will reportedly unite characters from the Avengers, X-Men, Fantastic Four and Thunderbolts. This sets the stage for a mega crossover affair. The sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, has already been announced.
